1. Soviet Tactical Event Cards:

Tac-RUS- Boresight copy.png Tac-RUS- Close air support copy.png Tac-RUS- Command Coordination copy.png

Boresighting is where they set up a weapon to fire at a specific spot. They are quicker to target an enemy unit

Close Air Support (CAS) this card is CAS that is in addition to anything you would get assigned to you by the scenario Order of Battle.(OOB) In other words, the scenario may already have you getting CAS assigned to the battle or not. This card would be in addition to any other CAS you would get.

Command Coordination is an example of those rare occasions where attacks are coordinated correctly and all the units taking part in the attack do as they are told.

Good Hunting.

2. Soviet Tactical Event Cards:

Tac-RUS- Confusion copy.png Tac-RUS- Determined attack copy.png Tac-RUS- Determined defense copy.png

Confusion is where the attacking units aren't sure exactly what the intended target is and the attack is halted.

Determined Attack is when the attacker wants the attack to succeed badly enough to add whatever firepower he can get his hands on to support the attack. Which in game terms means you make a second attack on that location.

Determined Defense is when the defender is not budging. They have decided to defend this location with great determination.

Good Hunting.

3. Soviet Tactical Event Cards:

Tac-RUS- Doubletime copy.png Tac-RUS- Exhaustion copy.png Tac-RUS- Experience level down copy.png

Double Time is when a unit moves quickly. They aren't taking their time and walking slowly.

Exhaustion is when troops are physically too tired to move. Playing this card will stop any movement order.

Experience Level Down is when the more experienced members of the unit are no longer being the primary influence for that unit. They could be killed, wounded or simply not willing to continue to support the fighting at their usual level of involvement. This does not replace single man counters on the map. Only multi-man counters.

4. Soviet Tactical Event Cards:

Tac-RUS- Experience level up copy.png Tac-RUS- Grenade attack copy.png Tac-RUS- Heavy patrolling copy.png

Experience Level Up is where a unit is preforming at a higher level than normal. This does not replace single man counters on the map. Only multi-man counters.

Grenade Attack is when a unit is carrying more than their usual amount of grenades and uses the extra ones in a single attack.

Heavy Patrolling is the most versatile Tactical Event Card in the game. It allows you to stop an enemy movement order to an infantry unit, to look at the other players Tactical Event Cards and discard one of them, or remove concealment from a map location. You get these benefits because you have a lot of patrols out in the field that are giving you information. This information allows you to be able to make quicker decisions. The crux of the OODA Loop.

5. Soviet Tactical Event Cards:

.Tac-RUS- Hero copy.png Tac-RUS- Infiltrate copy.png Tac-RUS- Morale wavers copy.png

Heroes are those people that step up and do things the rest of us think are almost beyond belief.

Infiltrate is where a unit can move forward without the opportunity for the enemy to take them under effective countermeasures. This is the advance order expanded out to a two hex range.

Morale Wavers is when the defenders are thinking about their current situation and are less likely to continue to participate

6. Soviet Tactical Event Cards:

Tac-RUS- MRL attack copy.png Tac-RUS- Rally copy.png Tac-RUS- Rapid fire copy.png

MRL (Multiple Rocket Launcher) Attack is a very strong area attack made by MRL's instead of tube artillery.

Rally immediately. This can be done to rally units at any time. The timing of when you use this event can save the lives of many of your soldiers.

Rapid Fire is when units fire on full automatic instead of firing bursts. Firing on full auto can reduce a units ammunition supply and could result in lessened firepower later.

7. Soviet Tactical Event Cards:

Tac-RUS- Reaction copy.png Tac-RUS-Ambush copy.png Tac-RUS-Artillery mission copy.png

Reaction allows for a force to react immediately with any order you choose.

Ambush gives you the opportunity to fire first in a Close Combat Location.

Artillery Mission gives you an artillery mission right then. You don't have to have one in the scenario special rules. You determine randomly what artillery you have available and can resolve the mission right then.

8. Soviet Tactical Event Cards:

Tac-RUS-Mines copy.png

Mines can be placed in any non-building, non-water location and make an immediate attack. Mines are spread all over battlefields and sometimes with little or no notice to the people walking/driving around on them. This card represents a mine location that was unknown before the action started.

There's a typo on the Hero card. Should be "affect".
