Hej,
I'm new and I'd like to say hi

I have one problem:
I want to create my own map
I am copying an area from google maps / google earth. I estimate its size at 40X22 km (based on the scale of the map). I save the file as MapScan 0.bmp and place it in the appropriate directory. After starting MapMaker, I create a new map, where I give respectively: MapWidth = 48000 and MapHeight = 22000. I mark Bitmap Underlay options and ... nothing happens.
How to create the right bitmap, which will be the "pattern" for the created map?

Thanks in advance for your advice

It has to be a .BMP file format. It has to be located in the correct directory (see the instructions for map maker)

Thanks for the reply.

I found the reason: a typo in the name of the directory.
MapScan was instead of MapScans ...
Now everything is ok

thanks
