Fixed INTERIM 5.0.8 - Ordinal Not Found...

I'm getting an error message when trying to run the game. I got this error when running Windows 10. I went ahead and reinstalled Windows 8.1, so this is off a fresh install. I still get the error. I have tried installing VC++ 2008, 2010, and 2012 redistributables and my .NET Framework 4.5 is up to date. I also have installed the latest DirectX.

Yes this is a weird one. We are using 2012 redistributables. Eos, since you have access to the 2010 redistributables, could you try dropping in the mfc110.dll file from the 21010 version into the CO2 game directory and see if that fixes the problem?

I uninstalled all of the Visual C++ redist stuff and only installed the 2010 version. I did not find mfc110.dll, but I did find mfc100.dll in the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 directory. Placing that in the CO2 game directory has fixed the error and the game now runs.

Very interesting. I must say I'm puzzled as to why that would work.

But in the meantime for those wanting a temporary fix please download the attached file and unzip it in your CO2 game directory.
