Any chance those of us who own the original Band Of Heroes can special order the just the components of Swift and Bold, since that expansion is OOP? Really can't afford to buy essentially the same game again.
If it's a matter of artist permission, I understand. Otherwise, print-wise, when I scaled up the small counters slightly to print them 1", it did not negatively affect the sharpness of the counter art at all.
As far as printing costs to provide them, I'd be happy to buy just printed counter...
I think the option to buy larger maps is great. But how about also offering printed sheets of larger counters?
When I play-tested HOTP, I blew up the PDF files of counters to scale the infantry, SW and guns up to 1" size like the vehicle counters.
Boy, did Julian's counter artwork pop-out on...
David,
Speaking for myself, if it saves money and work on your part, I'd be happy with just high quality 1" counter prints ---single sided sets of the front and back of the counters-----on a nice 60lb. coated stock.
I would have no problem cutting them out myself, and mounting them on either...
I'm a fan of this idea. My eyes and fat fingers would appreciate this.
Bumping up all LnL counters to an even 1" would still work with the current game boards
Wouldn't bother my game play if infantry, SW, WT, and vehicles counters are the same 1" size.
Maybe I missed the memo. But it's been a while since the site news has been updated.
Any news on when HOTP will come out? If there are release issues, please let me know.
Davids' work is too good to keep small--That and my aging eyes and blunt fingers need help manipulating game counters. So I re-sized his Libya counters by 115%, and mounted them on 3/4" and 1" square wood tiles.
Comparison between standard LnL 5/8" FH2 MMC counter and re-sized custom...
This is too good just to show off at your Facebook page, David. Gorgeous work as usual. Can hardly wait til HOP goes to press, just to have all your fine work in print.
par excellence! I'm not into zombie games anymore, but I going to buy All Things Zombie just to have the game board to play this great expansion. Thanks!
In your books section there is offerings for game compendiums such as World at War, etc. Can we expect one for LnL series in the future?
It would be nice, as I cannot afford to buy all the back issues of Line of Fire, just for the LnL articles.
What does the tiny "M" represent on the Delta unit counter next to the fire power number?
I've looked several times, but can't find it in the V3 version rule book or the ADOH module.
Also, does the tiny "A " mean on the Brit paras counters?
