Afaik, there is no way, but it would be great. A map with contour lines and better colours to indicate height would do wonders to let you know with a quick glance how steep the terrain is and where are the good hills to position your troops (basically, where there is a good los)

I think a good 2d map would be enough, alhough a good 3d map is more intuitive. Anyway, as things are now it is difficult for me to tell if i will have los and what is the general terrain layout without having to use the tools constantly, which becomes really annoying.

I would like to say that the new maps are great. I love them.
