World At War 85 Starter Kit Tabletopia

This is a rather big deal, as it runs on a Chromebook. Vassal, TTS and Steam don't. I gather it'll run on Android, too. Will the core games and modules be added?

    Space Infantry LnLT Module...... Maybe

'It's an ugly planet! It's a bug planet!' Really like the idea of this, and the franchise branching into something new. It's a versatile rule set, and I can see it working for sci-fi.

LnLT Vassal Modules version 2.2 - Coming Soon!

Just a heads up, regarding the current module for the Falklands module - The 'shaken' side of the Gurkha mmc is coming up as the Argentine Marines. Looking through the image directory in Editor, the image looks as if it's missing.

Heroes of North Africa Vassal Module

Just a heads up - the counters from the desert raiders expansion aren't loading; opened it up, and the image file is missing. Maps are loading fine from the core module.

Heroes of the Nam Vassal Module

Just downloaded the module, and noticed the 'Mark Unmoved' button is missing from the toolbar. Quick fix: In Module Editor, double-click 'Boards', and set 'Mark Pieces that Move' from 'Never' to 'Always', and the default button will appear.

Heroes of the Motherland Vassal Modules

Regarding home-made mods - If permission is given for 'personal use', it usually means it can't be shared (as that would conflict with the official releases, and the company can assert its right to control the promotion and distribution of its IP). If it can't be shared, the module can't be...

Heroes of the Motherland Vassal Modules

David, other boardgame companies develop combined mods, for development, testing and online play. In fact, it is pretty much the norm to create a core module, then add expansions as they're released. If you were to open up about why its a problem, rather than peremptorily closing the...

Heroes of the Motherland Vassal Modules

It's also a waste of energy. It is much easier to build a core module - for LnL Tactical, the counter prototypes, admin markers and dice - and then add the artwork from the individual games as extensions. That way, you are not building the entire module from scratch each time. Allowing players...

    Question about iraq in Ln'L

Some time ago, I read a post by an American vet about how gaming the wars he'd fought in helped him deal with some of the bad memories. I haven't found anything substantial on wargaming as a component in therapy for vets suffering from ptsd, but I suspect it might not be far off. There is...

New LnLT v2.0 Vassal Modules Now Available

Really looking forward to seeing more of your work, Trent. Extensions are really easy, compared to an entire new module from scratch. You'll love the freedom it gives you to add content.

    Spanin Civil War

That is a really good idea. LnL:T is perfect for the Civil War, especially the street fighting of '36 and '37. Atmospheric, and with great scope. It would also be an opportunity for a map depicting the defence of a bullring, which can only be a good thing.

New LnLT v2.0 Vassal Modules Now Available

Hi Trent Thanks for the work you are putting into this; I mess around with modules myself, so I appreciate how painstaking the work can be, especially with that many counters with that many functionalities! That said, I'm afraid I'm going to have to burden you with more work .... Two things...
