On a roll of 5-6 on the NATO botched orders table it says, "NATO player immediately selects his AN". That sounds like a plus, not a negative, and I would have thought that "botched orders" would have a negative effect. Am I missing something?

If a side rolls on the botched orders table and the order limits a player to a group of units that are not in the current scenario (e.g. in High Road, if only American units can activate but the only NATO units are German), can that side still use assets?

I'm curious why the Abrams and Leopard II have a strength value of 4+1. Why not just write 5? Is the +1 used for something else besides attack? I get it for the T-80 (+1 doesn't apply at night) but I don't get the Abrams and Leopard +1. Can anyone help?
