The Knock on all Doors Challenge

I haven't purchased KOAD because I was disappointed to learn how short the scenarios are, I prefer longer drawn out battles. I'm certainly not knocking this title, I can see a hell of a lot of work went into it.

    Anti-Axis Bias....?

Your absolutely right, Max Aggro is a terrible idea for Axis. I'm feeling incredibly embarrassed right now.

    Anti-Axis Bias....?

When launching a full scale attack use line formation whenever possible and set Agro, ROF and Ammo to max, and most importantly use artillery fire during the attack.

    Pattons Charge

I'll be ecstatically happy when we can purchase East Front scenarios. I love this game engine, it's genius, nothing else comes even close. Some Eastern Front scenarios and hopefully one day some modern warfare scenarios with this engine would be the pinnacle of operational scale wargaming, a...

How Important is PBEM to you?

I do like the idea of playing WEGO against a human opponent, the AI in Command Ops is clever enough to know when to retreat or hold when it finds itself in a detrimental situation, and this is extremely important when things aren't going to plan and you have to wait before you can issue new orders.

    Artillery support

My SS Pz Eng Bn is trying to construct a bridge under fire and is taking casualties, a smokescreen would be a godsend.

    NORDWIND

Kurt I followed your instructions on where to place the files and it worked perfectly, this looks like it going to be a really run scenario, I was excited to see all the AFV reinforcements scheduled to arrive on day 2. Thanks for taking the time to create and share your scenario, very much...

"It was a mini Falaise Gap". That bit cracked me up, thanks for posting another great AAR.

    The Stolberg Corridor

Thanks for your reply simovitch. It's interesting to learn that you co-designed the scenario, it's challenging scenarios like this one that I actually enjoy playing the most. I'm going to take your advice and focus my efforts on inflicting max casualties. Cheers.

Keep these coming mate, I really enjoy reading them.

    The Stolberg Corridor

I'm playing with orders delay set at realistic, all the other options are set as historical and the supply schedule is set as normal. I haven't played past day one because I am getting steamrolled so badly I don't think I will be able to hold even one objective location. I moved my armour units...

    The Stolberg Corridor

I'm playing as Axis but my force is getting easily brushed aside on day one. 2 Bty 394 StuG Bde has managed to hold a critical position and give the Allies hell, but is now greatly outnumbered by enemy tanks and is starting to get absolutely pummelled by artillery. I would love to see a AAR from...

    Malame Historical Campaign

    Great AAR.

Unit Type Sympols - Picture or Military (NATO)

I prefer the unit silhouette's because it helps to rapidly distinguish different companies and platoons when units are bunched, this is especially helpful when multiple battles are raging simultaneously and I'm trying to keep a sharp eye on the developing situation.
