Mark - I have the CO2 version of HTTR, is there a scenario in that equivalent to the "Eindhoven - Para Rescue" scenario you describe in your tutorial? Are some of the original scenarios from RDOA and the original HTTR missing in the CO2 version? Thanks
Hi Mark, the information in those links looks really useful, but the links to the PDF download versions don't seem to work - is there any possibility of re-uploading the PDFs to somewhere that's accessible? Thanks
BTW I actually bought Highway to the Reich in the end (today!), as there seems to be more coverage about this, which I thought may help with learning the game. I may pick up The Cauldron later, once I've grasped the essentials better!
Okay, thanks.
Do either of the modules come with a separate electronic manual, or should I always refer to the main core CO2 manual? I'm thinking it might be worth getting a manual printed up and bound, if a printed manual is not available to purchase, but want to know whether to do this with...
Hi I'm new to Command Ops, I've been quite enjoying the scenarios that come with the Core game engine, but am feeling somewhat confused by many things. I'm thinking of buying either The Cauldron or Highway to the Reich, probably the former, as I'm more interested in the North Africa theatre, but...
The scenario lists posted above suggest that Clash of Armour has a unit count of 302 and Trial by Combat has 90 - the former sounds huge! Does this mean it has 302 counters or does "units" represent something else?
Whilst Market Garden does interest me, I'm much more interested in the Desert War theatre, my only concern is whether the Cauldron module contains a reasonable number of smaller scenarios that are good for learning the game system on.
I'm still getting this, even if I disable DPI scaling, is a fix for this in the works for release soon, as it makes it very difficult to interpret the in-game information properly?
I don't know whether it's an oversight, but the PDF version of the Highway to the Reich Strategy Guide is still available to purchase from Matrix/Slitherine here, even though it's not listed on their websites:
