Jeff, though your avatar outranks mine, your assumption of lead on LnL is cause for my avatar's higher morale.

It's the non-linear nature of the 2D6 really that puts a lower limit on Morale at "4". That's the lowest Morale in the system. A "7" Morale is extremely high, and that stretches the upper boundaries of the Damage Table. So, the basic Morale spread is "6" (Elite), "5" (Standard), "4" (Blah)...

This CANNOT end well.

General's are establishment figures, often choose for political reliability and conservative nature. Colonels are younger and can be more diverse, less a pillar of the Military hierarchy, and sometimes more radical. After they take over, remaining a Colonel instead of General or Field...
