In Heroes of North Africa, the paragraph on placing dust markers say they are placed at the end of the first move. But on the next turn if the vehicle moves, they are picked up and replaced "in accordance with the above"

If movement gets interrupted for opportunity fire, are they picked up and placed in the new hexes before firing? After firing? Or do we only move those markers after the vehicle totally completes movement?

I'm not 100% sure, but logically the vehicles movement creates the dust, so if movement is "temporarily halted" for Op fire then I'd place the dust counters in these hexes so they'd affect the Op fire.

Then, after resolving Op fire, if movement isn't terminally interupted, finish the move and place the dust in the final hexes.
