The scenario details explain that the US Army is busy searching through an NVA hospital (map 2, hex G2) but the setup has an isolated platoon set up in hex G2 on map 4, in the middle of the jungle. Is this the correct setup or should those units be in G2 on map 2 searching the hospital?

Well, that would take care of this scenario errata:

· Yes, American troops in 4G2 at setup are violating stacking limits in Heavy Jungle. No further movement that would violate stacking limits in or out of this hex is allowed henceforth

OTOH, it put a lot of hexes between the two starting ennemy forces, which is usually not the case in most LNL(T) scenarios.

Also, based on the scenario's introduction text and the following excerpt from one web source (with others confirming):

On 01 November, the first significant contact with the enemy was made when a rifle platoon of "B" Troop, 1st Squadron, 9th Cavalry overran a regimental aid station of the NVA 33rd Regiment six miles southwest of Plei Me, killing fifteen and capturing another fifteen. Two other rifle platoons from "B" Troop were landed to exploit the contact and began to sweep through the area. Soon after 1400 hours, scout helicopters reported a battalion-size force moving from the northeast. The fighting, at close quarters, was too close for rocket support from the Aerial Rocket Artillery, or for Tactical Air support

I would reverse map direction, putting south toward Map 2xx1 end and, of course, change the scenario date to November 1st.

We'll try to get in touch with Peter Bogdasarian, the designer of this scenario
