Universal carrier

    Don't know if any of you have tried to mod units that utilise this vehicle (such as British mortar platoons, A/T platoons etc.) but I have and have always had problems. In the past I've always assumed that I'm allocating too many small arms to that unit - I mean that if a mortar requires four personnel to crew it I shouldn't issue them with any rifles etc. because those four crew are operating the mortar. If I allocate the historic amount of small arms that unit would have been issued with the result is the game culls vehicles and guns (mortars, A/T etc.).

    The answer lies with the number of crew allocated to the Universal carrier. This is currently set to three (as stated by Wikipedia). Setting it to one (the driver) solves the above problems. Hope this helps someone.
