Just saw the new newsletter. With it came the news that on some products one is expected to mount their own counters.

Was curious if the Compendium 2 fell under this? In the description in the letter of Compendium 1 die cut counters was used. But in compendium 2 simply the word 'counters' was used.

Im assuming boxed games will continue to have die cut counters that we dont have to mount on our own right? (Like the reprint of Dawn's Early Light)? Really hoping the whole having to mount your own counters thing is only for the magazine. TIA!

Hi Jonathan

Line of Fire 1-6 used to be only available as a PDF. They are now provided in full color and in printed. Line of Fire 1-6 have never been available in a printed format. The maps are also included on a heavy 80 pound stock and in full color. The counters for issues 1-6 are printed but must be mounted by you. Line of Fire issues 7-15 all come with mounted counters and will be included with the issue as well as full color printed maps. Just as a reminder some issues didn't come with counters and or maps and of course those still do not.

As far as the Compendium Volume 2, it will be in full color and have full color maps and mounted counters. Compendium Volume 1 now is in full color and has full color maps and mounted counters. If you buy the PDF version of any issue you will need to print out your own maps and counters and of course mount the counters yourself. We are planning on making all the counters mounted but we can't say when yet. We will also make these counters available on there own for those who have already purchased any of those issues without mounted counters.
