If this has already been answered elsewhere, forgive me please. I could not find it in the forum.

Rule 9.1.7.1 makes it clear that during Escort vs Interceptor air combat, if the attacker destroys the defender, the defender will not get to fire on the attacker.

Does the same hold true in Bomber vs Interceptor sir combat or is this combat simultaneous?

I actually would like to see what the players say for Fighter vs Fighter and Bomber Air Combat.
I've seen good case's made for both the Advantage and a Simultaneous system.

Escort's win Ties is simpler, but gives the Escorts an big advantage.
Simultaneous takes a few more steps and can be ambiguous but is probably more fair.

Fair enough though I'm not sure it adds any steps to the process. The player will have to remember the results of the first combat and apply it after the second combat ends.

Just FYI, I allowed simultaneous attacks against three bombers in the first round of combat with Interceptors and ended up with the following results:

1. Bomber heavily damaged and drops out; FW-190 damaged.

2. Bomber heavily damaged and continues; FW-190 damaged.

3. Bomber lightly damaged and continued; FE-190 destroyed.

I like the way this turned out and am planning on using it further for both Fighter vs Fighter and Fighter vs Bomber.
