White Star Rising: Marvie the Door to Bastogne

I was kind of the mood for a smaller size Battle of the Bulge scenario and picked this small 10 turns, one map scenario. The Germans spend two turns on the approach while the Americans hold up in Butgenbach/Marvie and wait them out. As the German Armor followed the Mechanized Infantry get closer, the Americans unleash Armor, Bazooka, Infantry & Anti-tank gun fire, some hit the mark, other bounce off the armor.

The Germans were lucky to active first on the next turn and inflicted some payback on the Americans and the improved positions and town hexes only helped a little. The rest of the game turned into a slugfest and some assaults hexes as well. Both sides received some timely reinforcements and one turn ended with no action, drawing two end of turn markers. After 10 turns, this game ended in a Draw, with the German only controlling two town hexes. But if they had one or two more turns, they would have won, that missing turn really hurt.

A fast playing Bulge scenario that seems pretty balanced and straight forward at least for one game play.
