Like many people, I imagine, I have a 15" laptop as well as an external monitor. How can I direct the game to start on my external monitor so I can use that as the 'main' display and my laptop for other stuff?

You can do it in Windows Control Panel. Open Screen Resolution applet, select your external monitor icon and then mark the check box "Select as a main screen" (or something like that).

Thanks for replying panzerpit. I had gotten that far, just wondered if there was a secret config setting or something that you wiz's might know about. I also think I remember a thread on the old Matrix forum talking about how with some graphics cards you can configure it to open specific applications on a particular monitor.
