    Graphic of initial screen...

Assuming all the other distortion issues come from just the stretching, maybe the easiest solution would be to keep the menu screen in a fixed aspect ration (16x9) and just have black bars at the top and bottom of the screen.

    Graphic of initial screen...

Also on a 1920X1200 monitor, it seems like it's vertically stretched from a native 1080p image. Monty looks even taller and thinner than usual...

GPQ - It it possible to switch to the old interface?

Thanks for the reply--- and again, I have no issue with your history--- I know how much (basically unpaid) work you put into squelching so many bugs (such as various order delays) in the original CO. Again, I am thinking about the model, though still sticking with delaying investing in it...

GPQ - It it possible to switch to the old interface?

Thanks--- again, I'm not comfortable with the model, and it is delaying my purchase, but I am thinking about it, especially as I both understand (well maybe really I have no clue... ) the economics of the war-games industry, and do want to support such a great system. One question. So one...

GPQ - It it possible to switch to the old interface?

Sounds good----- keep in mind that I (and various other people who have expressed opinions on other forums on the web in the last couple days), have been holding of on purchasing due to that issue. It's just not a model I'm comfortable with, as I've stated before, and no need to rehash the...

GPQ - It it possible to switch to the old interface?

Just to clarify David, does that mean that the proposed fee for upgrading data packs as the engine itself is upgraded is no longer happening, i.e. the capped $50 fee for the bi-annual upgrades? If so, that makes me very happy and the Commander Pack becomes an instant purchase for me.

Command Ops 2 Limited Time Offer Bundle Pack Coming Soon

Thanks for the reply David. And though I certainly trust both your and Dave's reputation---- I am a very, very long time customer---- I think as far as this new pricing model goes, I'll hold off on paying into it until I can see how everything works out over a few update cycles. I truly hope...

Command Ops 2 Limited Time Offer Bundle Pack Coming Soon

Thanks David and Dave for your replies. Could I just have a few questions answered? So say, I buy the initial offer, but don't want to upgrade the scenarios. Then I want to buy the East Front pack, without spending the premium to upgrade the other scenarios. Will I still be able to play...

Command Ops 2 Limited Time Offer Bundle Pack Coming Soon

Well, maybe for the initial purchase $100 as opposed to $50 (again a very generous number, but keeping into account most of us would have already purchased the games from Matrix, so this is basically an upgrade for us.) And say, if a module is going to cost $30, maybe allow a "future proof"...

Command Ops 2 Limited Time Offer Bundle Pack Coming Soon

Yeah, as much as I dislike the model, I'll at least give it a shot with the initial $50 dollar offer, which is generous even for us who have bought the previous games. That said, I probably will hold back at least a few upgrade cycles at that point, just to see how this how thing plays out...

Command Ops 2 Limited Time Offer Bundle Pack Coming Soon

One more point, and just to emphasize here, I'm somebody who loves CO, has bought them from Matrix, and very much wants to continue supporting. Well let's deal with the elephant in the room. The original plan was posted about a year ago on the Matrix forums, discussions happened. Etc. etc...

Command Ops 2 Limited Time Offer Bundle Pack Coming Soon

Hi all, and I just gotta say, as I previously posted over on the Matrix forums when Dave initially proposed it (a year ago?), this whole new pricing scheme has me deeply uneasy. Most of the reasons have been rehashed here, but one I don't think has been brought up again is whether all versions...
