    SITREP

Well, probably that is about what MarkShot has been describing as digital entropy in post #1,413. The point when each correction of a code´s bug results in a rate of probability of causing another bug due to that very process becomes 1 or higher. Meanwhile it seems that our fellow generals are...

    SITREP

I read Mr. Miller´s post. The question wasnt supposed to be productive nor to change anything. I would interpret the question as of a rethorical one. I don't think Dave would be presenting all the reports about his work like this if he wasn't convinced that the project would be completed well...

    SITREP

I am from Germany and I hope he and the other ukrainian people, mostly women and children, find a certain shelter here and at our fellow european neighbours like poland and others. Still, the body might be in safety, but the mind keeps being troubled given by this act of shame. Actually not...

    SITREP

I really appreciate the frequent updates. Thank you for that! Yes, its time for some well deserved resting. A fresh mind is the best condition to work around that nasty code, isnt it?

    CO2 Greenlights on Steam

Sounds nice, but unreal too, doesnt it? One steam-key for each purchase, ok. But as many as desired??

    Couple of miscellaneous questions

Still the question remains: Will there be an in-situ-option again, if there currently really was no adequate setting? Probably there was a reason for removing it. Perhaps it lacked functionality? So there might be an overhauling? I just dont know. At least the devs know the answer ....

    Couple of miscellaneous questions

Hope this is just a temporary solution, since the idea of the game was to not depend on micro-management and trust on the AI to do a reasonable job.

    Couple of miscellaneous questions

1st issue (supply): Hard to say something about this matter. Actually the situation has to be analyzed in detail with the save-file. Sometimes supply-units get interdicted by enemy forces often hidden due FoW. Then probably substitute bases of a higher level take their part for a while. Perhaps...

    Forming up delay

Since enemy sight on the FUP area is critical due arty barrage, I wonder if the feature smoke-screen has already been implemented. If not happened yet, we can seriously consider it as a vital criteria for a proper function of performing maneuvres without getting thwarted carefully concocted...

    Sequential Tasking Poll

Just took notice of this subject. The sequential-task-concept is definitely something I was missing when I played CO1. ImO it is evident, that preparation movements in many cases do have different premises than the final action. A game like CO must have the aspiration giving the player a variety...

    Infantry type question

I assume the OoB and unit-types in CO are well researched. In 1944/45 the regular Table of Content and unit setups for the Germans in many cases couldnt be provided anymore due lack of material and sufficiantly trained men. My humble opinion: So for the Bulge even some mobile elements had been...

High losses of generic transport vehicles in mot and mech units??

Howdy Kurt, thx for answering! I got CO#2, but didnt play it yet. I had to abandon my old PC lately and currently use a laptop. Also have a lot RL things to do atm. I hope to find time later this year to start with CO#2.

High losses of generic transport vehicles in mot and mech units??

I am talking about my experiences from playing CO#1. For my feel the losses of generic troop-transport-vehicles in especially motorized units when performing prepared actions like assaults or probes were too high. I´d expect that commanders would leave vulnerable and precious trucks behind in a...
