I too have tried it on historical settings and was totally defeated. My only tip is - if you can somehow do this: take the airfield asap before your Base unit is dropped there at midnight right into the middle of the enemy's defence!

I've installed the patch but cant start the game, I get this message: "the program can't start because mfc120.dll is missing" It advises me to try reinstalling so I downloaded and reinstalled the core engine - but it still wont start and I get the same message.
The 3D views using Google earth overlays really give a good grasp of the lay of the land! Are there any plans to incorporate similar tilted map 3D views into COps2 in the future?
1) It would be useful for planning if an extra range ring was added showing the command range of HQ units. Also useful would be a visual indication that a unit was within command range of its organic superior, perhaps added to the f-key cycle for the units info box.
