Can a wounded Hero still enter into melee and still shift the odds one column to the right. I couldn't find anywhere in the rules that said they couldn't (they are heroes after all) but that doesn't mean it is right. More likely is that I missed the rule that said they couldn't.

What does immediate impulse mean in the context of activating an event. Specifically when it says, "immediate impulse. Place x troops on hex y". Do the new units come onto the map as activated or do they get to conduct their own impulse later on?
