Hi. I just got Storming the Gap and have set up scenario 17 (I played 12 already, great fun!). It says on page 92 that only Soviet formations can use Soviet artillery. I don't see any Soviet artillery in the OB and it is not mentioned in the errata. Did I miss something?

I thought I read somewhere that mortars did not have to be in command range in order to be called in by a headquarters. Is that so. If not I think I might make that as a house rule.

Can a headquarters marked with a Ops completer marker (for giving its 2 dice bonus to a direct fire) give it to the units he is stacked with if they are close assaulted later in the same turn?
