Strange bug: Retreating unit marches straight through multiple enemy lines

Well, no I don't have a save sadly. And having a save that shortly before the moment would have been blind luck I think. I was flabbergasted at what I saw, that when I thought about capturing the moment all I had left was making a screenshot. But I believe this issue is known? I digged in the...

    Battle of Groningen

I agree, I am tweaking the supplies, staff quality and commander efficiency on the Axis side a bit more. Wondered how I never noticed that one minor river error, after creating a big map you'll seemingly have blind spots in your mind sometimes. Forgot about that, colour is definitely changed...

    Battle of Groningen

I'll change it, since I guess it doesn't matter if it is completely blue or blue-red. Blue is French enough I suppose ;-) I thought I had been giving enough room for most places, but apparently not those. Gonna fix these in a moment. The streams shouldn't be a problem though if they are near a...

Battle of Groningen - A few changes after feedback

v1.1: Changes: -Fixed German briefing -Added slighly longer orders delay for the Axis side compared to the Allies. -Tweaked Allies reinforcements -Removed the Sig related workshop item. The integration doesn't seem to be working on Steam. If you are using the Steam Workshop and want the Sig's to...

    Battle of Groningen

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate. Any feedback is welcome. In the .zip file download from this resource depository it should work fine. I took a look, and it seems there is no ideal integration for sig related graphics in the Steam workshop. In the manager the only option I had was uploading...

Strange bug: Retreating unit marches straight through multiple enemy lines

I was playing the Red Devils Over Arnhem scenario (Steam version) this evening. When this weird thing happened on D3 on my final attempt to push towards the Arnhem bridge, some of my units were retreating. And (ironically) 2nd battalion HQ (Frost) was retreating...towards the enemy.. through...

What to do in scenario creation when one side of a battle has no clear structure?

I implemented those things you mentioned, will try this out. Also, funny how you sometimes oversea small things. I forgot to add a bridge on a road that crosses a major river. Didn't even see it. Good thing to test out all things first.

What to do in scenario creation when one side of a battle has no clear structure?

Currently I am trying to steer the Axis AI into being more careful and prioritising the vital objectives (the city mostly) over lesser ones. What's the best way to do this? At the moment I find the Axis AI to be slightly too aggressive in going for other objectives (bridges, smaller towns) and...

What to do in scenario creation when one side of a battle has no clear structure?

My scenario is finished. I am letting my father and myself test it privately a bit first currently. Then afterwards when I feel brave enough I will post it here and let you guys have a try, and hopefully have some feedback from other viewpoints since it is a first release and I expect tweaking...
