    Dropped Out Escorts

Rule 10.5.2 states that a dropped out escort is removed form play and is assumed to return to the base. However, the Squadron Briefing Card states that a shot-down or lost escort cost -1 VP. This is contradictory. Which one is right. Does a dropped out escort use the Lost Bomber Fate Table or is...

    Dropped Out Escorts

Rule 10.5.2 states that a dropped out escort is removed from play. However, the Squadron Briefing Card states that there is a -1 VP for a "lost" or shot-down escort. Does a dropped out escort have to roll on the Lost Bomber Fate Table or is a dropped out escort automatically considered lost and...

    Victory Points

The Leipzig blue card has only one value for VP (10). It has no light and heavy damage values. If I get a minor damage bombing result do I get the 10 VP's?

    Dropped Bombers

Rules say that if an "undamaged" dropped bomber returns home it is placed in the Ready Box. How can a bomber be dropped without damage?

Thank you. Do you have any thoughts about the row shift question at the top of this thread. It's really cpnfusing.

    Sequnce of Play Problem

The rules state that air combat comes after flak. However, in reality the target hex interceptors attacked a formation first. The interceptors left as the formation approached the target hex so as not to be hit by friendly fire. The B17 crews knew that once the intrceptors left, flak was next...

The rules mention nothing about taking flak inbound AND outbound.

    Flak

Does the flak check of 2d6 dice for a 2-5 apply to a flak attack over the target? I would think target flak would be automatic.

    Flak

Below the Combat Table there are Row Shift Modifiers. The example on page 20 doesn't mention them. Does "+Lead Bomber Crew's Bombing Rating" (say its +4) mean to shift 4 rows up or down? If +4 means to shift up 4 rows, this doesn't make sense. A higher bombing rating INCREASES flak???

    Interceptor Checks

Do you do an interception check of German fighters when the formation enters "any" box? If the answer is no, does interception checks occur on white, green, blue or red boxes? Thanks Never mind. Found it in rules.
