It might be trivial but the sound mods I downloaded from here make a huge difference to the "immersion" effect in CO2. Hearing spatialized sounds really expands the battlefield as you hear mortars and RT and MG going off and echoing in the far, mid, and near distances. It really adds a 3rd dimensional depth to this stunning 2D game.

I also added some sound mixes I've created some time ago when I was working on a giant COII-AAR (for the Lucky 7th at Overloon). It turned out to be too much work, I'm afraid. I went a bit crazy, as I tried to create very accurate sounds to accompany the AAR - including the number of arty pieces being fired, etc. ^^

"Compilation 1" is a mix, which would have been the intro-music for the AAR.
"Final sounds" was the mix for the opening minutes of the AAR. Mainly my artillery barrage. But then my troops came under fire from a Pak and a MG.
