I'm playing a variant on the replacement availability of the B-17G (which started arriving in combat units in Aug-Sep '43). I've modified table 7.3.2 "Bomber Replacement Table" as follows:
1942: No B-17G available in '42, B-17F on roll of 4, 5, 6 (to reflect influx of bombers as 8th AF ops ramped up).
1943: No replacement available on roll of 1,2,3 (to reflect heavy losses of this year); B-17F available on roll of 4, 5; B-17G available on roll of 6.
1944: Seems ok to me.
Any comments? Does my reasoning look sound?
