By rule 11.0, Buttoned vehicles cannot spot, not even adjacent hexes

So a buttoned vehicule can't try a spotting attempt against any hex even adjacent's ones.

But if you have an infantery MMC in a degrading/blocking terrain adjacent to this buttoned vehicule.

1/ The MMC have no move marker. Is this MMC spotted ?
2/ The MMC have a low crawl marker. Is this MMC spotted ?
3/ The MMC have a move/assault move/fire marker. Is this MMC spotted ? (I would say yes for this one).

1) No
2) No
3) Yes

Very dangerous for a buttoned tank to move alone adjacent to an unspotted ennemy unit...

Basically, unless a unit is automatically spotted by being in open terrain , marked with a spotted marker or a Move/Assault Move/Fire marker, they can't be fired upon by a buttonned vehicle, even if they are adjacent, which is usually an autospot condition. Note that units with a Stealth move marker are not automatically spotted, even when adjacent, unless they fire or are standing in the open
