Close Assault Question

If a unit fails it's Close Assault it retreats to the hex it moved in from and is marked with a Move Marker. Can it than proceed to move using any remaining MPs? This just happened in the digital game and I am not sure if it is a bug or not.

No. Once marked with the Move marker it should end it's movement.
