Crew bombing modifier

Hello, during the bombing phase which crew modifiers are used ? Each of each bomber crew in the formation, or only the lead element no1 bomber's crew ? In other words, is the bombing modifier of a crew used ONLY when this bomber is no1 of the lead element of the formation ?

The bombing modifier is the bombing rating for the lead bomber of the lead element. You modify the combat table row based on that rating and apply to all bombing attacks.

Thanks. That sounds clear. If I have 9 B17F over the target I totalize 4 x 9 = 36 bombing points, whitout any modification from the crew. Then I possibly shift row(s) in the damage table depending on my sole N°1 bomber in the lead element, crew bonus.
