Dice questions

I am seeing a variety of different colored dice in the game and have figured out some but have questions on others.

White dice I think are for dice rolls when attacking or defending.

Red dice I think are for damage checks.

Yellow dice???

Blue dice are the biggest mystery. I get them consistently with ordinance versus infantry attacks. Not the to hit rolls but the attack results if there is a hit. But the dice don't seem to have anything to do with the results. Today I had blue fives over both the attacker and defended. The attackers result was 4+1 and the defenders result was 6+0. The 4 and the 6 were the dice rolls and the 1 was firing a bazooka into open terrain and the 0 was defending in open terrain. But what did the blue fives mean?

+1 - yeah don't understand the blue die appearing to the left of the DC red die roll.

Nothing too complicated, it's just that different colors are used for different rolls. I don't have a list handy right now, but that's the gist of it.
