When I select an attack order, I typically choose the same settings every time.
My suggestion is that a player set up a favourite move order and a favourite attack order.
In the orders screen add 2 buttons.
One says "use my fav attack order"
The other says "use my fav move order"
That would save many hundreds of mouse clicks.
Having selected a favourite order, the orders screen is open and I could change one of the items if I really want to.
