I'm curious if anyone knows whether or not the size of the platoon is reflected in the numbers on the counter. I come from a miniatures background where platoons are of a fixed size (4-5) vehicles and the number of platoons is adjusted accordingly. For example, a Soviet tank company in a tank regiment would have two "platoons" whereas a tank company in a MRR would have three platoons in order to reflect the difference in platoon size. Anyone have any ideas?

I do. ;-) It is flexible at 3 - 5 vehicles per platoon, depending on national doctrine (1-2 for one-step units, sections effectively). :)

So a platoon of 3 of Tank A would be as effective as a platoon 5 of Tank A. That seems a little broad, but I have my answer. Thank you
