Radio contact - the ability of stragglers to call in arty

One of the frustrations that I've had for many years with this engine is that a beaten up company consisting of a handful of men behind my lines can call in arty. In order to eliminate this threat you have to hunt them down which means diverting scarce fighting resources.

By late '44 the German man-pack radio was in very short supply (due to a number of reasons but principally a lack of raw materials to produce components) and were cumbersome and heavy. Germany radios were only issued at company level whilst every American platoon had the SCR-536 'Walkie-Talkie'.

Any thoughts?

Regards

Tim
