Hello Lock n Loaders,

not really a rules question- just a thing i am always wondering about:

Why are small arms sw counters placed under the unit who is carring it?

Coming from ASL camp I always place sw counters on top of the carring unit... a least then I know for sure that a sw is in possession of a unit and not just laying around in the hex.

Is it just me, or are there more who place their sw on top of a unit?

Same here--play ASL too so put SW on top in LNL also.

We place the support weapons under the squad as per the rules if we wanted to play ASL we’d play ASL...

Yep, I also play ASLSK now and then and I consider it slightly more logical to place a SW on top of the carrying unit (in order to see at one glance whether a SW is possessed by a unit or lying on the ground)...
