The Japanese get three half squads that use Ninjutsu movement why were they added? Japanese movement into caves from a tunnel were spotted without an American Adjacent.
Tunnel movement was only on one level, the rules say nothing about tunnel movement staying on one level only.

1. The Ninjutsu units are included in the OOB since at least the 3"deep box edition. I unfortunately can tell if they were in the very frist edition, the 1' deep box edition but I suspect so.

2. UJnits entering a Cave "hex" from a tunnel should not be spotted, even if they are marked Moved, unless there are units in the hex containing the Cave "hex" or in a hex adjacent to the hex containging the Cave "hex". if this was not the case, please press F3 in game to signal the bug to the developer.

3. You are right, the rules don't prevent tunnel movement between Caves located on different levels of a hill, Again, please press F3 in game to signal the bug to the developer.
