Wounded Heroes

Can a wounded Hero still enter into melee and still shift the odds one column to the right. I couldn't find anywhere in the rules that said they couldn't (they are heroes after all) but that doesn't mean it is right. More likely is that I missed the rule that said they couldn't.

Yes, wounded Heroes can enter melee and still get their column shift. They are heroes after all.
Wounded heroes are still considered GO, so they can still do whatever a GO unit can.

Thanks. They were heroic and single handedly wiped out a leader and squad and survived the melee

Can a wounded Hero self rally? or must be a medic in the hex with him?

Because Heroes never shake, they never have to rally but if they are wounded, they do need the help of a Medic ro remove that wound. In all honesty, I think I saw this happen once in all my LNLT games
