Mortars Op-Fire

I'm pretty sure it's there but I cannot find a rule regarding mortars and op.fire.

So the question is, can they perform opportunity fire?

Would seem a bit weird to me. Also the digital version doesn't seem to allow this.

But just played a quick vassal game and my opponent did that. I couldn't find quickly enough anything in the rules; also cannot find it now that I'm looking more calmly, so here I am asking you.
