That's correct, it is the Not Authorised error.

I've tried launching them from both.

EM.exe -- launched without trouble EstabEditor.exe -- launched without trouble MapMaker.exe -- showed the same error as CmdOps.exe ScenMaker.exe -- showed the same error as CmdOps.exe

I launched them from the Start Menu listing. I will try directly from Windows Explorer.

Following Erik Springelkamp's tests: I can run the Estab Editor and Estab Manager s a normal user. I cannot run the Map Maker or Scenario Maker; I get the same error as when running the Play.exe file.

David, I'm using plain vanilla Chrome version 41.0.2272.89 m ; I am not aware of any download managers. There may be one embedded within Chrome, though.

Thank you, David! I'll do that. By the way, I tried a suggestion of Doug's, and "bought" another copy of the core engine in order to get another code. The second code produces the same results as the first one.

After downloading the core engine once, and the scenario pack once, I am shown as having 10 remaining downloads of the core engine, and 7 of the scenario pack...?

Added the Bastogne module - now I have update1.dat and update1.exe. Are the Bastogne scenarios supposed to have maps in the scenario selection screen, or just Top Secret?

Reinstalled the core engine only - no change to behaviour, except that there's only one update.exe and one update.dat.
