5.1.24: Arty combined with foot infantry force

If I combine arty (mobile) with foot infantry, then the game gives me warning about way points in impassable terrain. Like for example when setting a FUP.

But here is the thing. The big guns should not be FUPing or deploying with the grunts. It's going to be in a reserve fire base. Therefore, I consider this warning and move of a way point due to arty to be superfluous and violating my commander's intent.

Would somebody please get down to Steinbruck and explain to these guys how things are supposed to work?

This is an issue I have had to tick them off about before. I then reported the incident to higher authority, where it promptly got lost in the overflowing in-tray
