Hi,

What are the key differences between NaW and LnL Tactical?

NAW is platoon level which seems to me only a small step up from squad level. How different / similar are the play systems? Are the scenarios of larger extent / longer?

Hello
There are big differences between the games. Primarily the biggest difference is scale. One hex in LNL Tac I believe is 50m where in NAW it is 150m per hex. LnL Tac uses squads (5-10) men and individual tanks per counter where NAW is platoon level where infantry counters represent 50-70 men and tank counters represent 3-5 vehicles. The time it takes to play a game in NAW is not really any longer than a LnL Tac. About 1-2 hours and there certainly are some "Big" scenarios but most of the action involves a few companies for each side.
If you want more info please reply. If you are somewhat interested but don't want to quite invest yet, download the manual in the resources section and at the end of the manual is a print and play scenario.
Thank you
Sean
