Make map margins larger

With the new windows covering the map area, it sometimes gets difficult to see the edges of the map.

Could the map margins be made larger, so one could scroll the map edge further to the centre beyond the side area that is covered by various windows?

If you are talking about the scroll margins, I'd love them to be made a little bigger. But in my case it's due to my multi-monitor setup. I find that I sometimes overshoot the scroll margin on the right and end up on the other screen. With a bigger margin, it will be easier to get the mouse in the sweet-spot.
