Hi Guys,
I have been getting asked this questions around the internet about the LnLT games that are coming out and why we changed the game titles. The name changes are simply us combining the older core games with expansion and giving you all items you needed to play in one box.
A good example is the older Heroes of the Gap (Core game) and the expansion Honneur et Patrie, Once you purchased the expansion, you still could not play it. That is because originally you still needed another core games (Heroes of the Blitzkrieg) just for the maps, which might I add is a WW2 game just to play a modern expansion game. To us, that was not right and forced the customer to buy a game at $70+ that you may not have any interest in just to play the expansion you already purchased.
Some have said we have not been clear on this, but we have place notes on both the Main Product page and the Stats and Components page of each game. Using Heroes Against the Red Star as an example please use the link below.
Requirements: No other product is required to play this game. This game contains some previously released material from Heroes of the Gap, Honneur et Patrie, and Heroes of the Blitzkrieg.

These new editions have new counters, additional scenarios, improved maps and additional charts and tables. We have expanded the LnLT series with our the X-Maps, and Battle Generators and these additions will work with the older LnLT games.
Here are a few examples of the new look using
I hope that better explains what we are doing and why.
