MOTORISED UNIT MOVING THROUGH WOODS

Have you used the Movement overlay - click on the Overlay button on the toolbar. There is one for motorised movement. It will show whether a location is passable to motorised units. You will probably see that on your map there is a gap between those two areas of woods .
