Assault Fire Question

Does an Assault Move capable unit occur the -2 penalty every time he fires. Had a hero today that had this happen. Two times in a row he fired and had this penalty. The 5.0 rules kind of insinuate this. Is this correct?

If you don't want Assault capable units to assault fire, you have to switch their movement type to normal.
There is a switch in the options to have Assault troops and vehicles default to Assault Move or Normal Move.

Thanks Barthheart. Not sure what I was doing wrong. Never really used Assault Fire. Never read the tool tip. Went back and ran through some other scenarios including the one I had trouble with and everything was fine.
