LOS/Spotting

Playing the HotN scenario 'Search & Destroy'. On turn one, I had a US squad move into hex E2 on map 8. Per the scenario's VC deployment guidelines, they're to be deployed within 2 hexes of a US unit and I deployed one VC squad into hex E4 on their impulse two hexes north of the US squad in E2. Per the rules, a unit is automatically spotted when they move into a hex.

My question is:

1. I'm assuming the US squad that is in E2 is spotted by the VC in E4 without me having to roll for the VC spotting attempt (is this correct).

Yes, this is correct. Units marked moved are always spotted, even if no ennemy units have LOS at the time. It,s a time-continuum thing
