Online resource for World at War units

I am going to be picking up World at War and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good online resource for units, vehicles and tactics for the period? I've not read anything about 80s era ground units for some time and while I actually remember a lot more than I expected I could still use a primer.

The GDW Assault group on Yahoo has a good OOB for NATO/WP.

Bookwise, The Almanac of World Military Power (1980 edition) and The Worlds Armies (Editor Chris Chant) have a decent list of equipment used in the early 1980s.

No good recommendations on tactics.
