Opportunity Fire and Assault Movement

During an Assault Move doesn't the assault movement allow Opportunity Fire first before the Assault Move completes and before the unit can Assault Fire within the same impulse for both foot and vehicles? I lost a Tiger Tank to a lucky shot by a 57mm ATG.

Yes, you can Op Fire at Assault Moving units, infantry or vehicles, before they can fire.

Just to be pedantic, you Assault move (6.1) and then Fire, or you Assault Fire (6.1.1) and then Move, but you don't Assault move then Assault fire
