Ordnance rate of fire

During our last game, the third scenario of HoNA, we had some question about the British gun with a 2x before HE equivalent.

The rule says that when equivalent HE is preceded by Nx, the gun can fire N time during its impulse.

1/Can it fire Nx in OF?

2/If yes can it fire only if the unit as spend at least N MF in the hex?

3/Does it gain an acquisition between each fire or only at the end of its impulse?

With fate points that allow to remove "Fired" counter, this gun may be really deadly...

1) Yes
2) No, the 2x are considered as one attack, just like a squad using its IFP then firing it's bazooka
3) End of the impulse

I think that is the way we played it, considering the 2 attacks as only one, so no mistake this time.
