Question about buying heroes of the motherland

I saw in the description that it comes with 4.1 rules. Is that still the case, if so is there a plan to update to 5.0? I know I can buy/download a set of the 5.0.

Do I also need to buy a set of the replacement counters and updated 5.0 charts?

there are virtually no rules changes between 4.x and 5.0 rules. Maybe one or two minor changes. For the most part, the rules were reworded to be understood more clearly, and the index was expanded a lot. No counter or chart changes are needed to play a 4.x game with the 5.0 rules. Hell, you can play 1st edition games with the 5.0 rules and it wouldn't change the experience much.
