Rules Question: 13.2.2 says that a unit retreating after losing an assault can’t retreat into a hex adjacent to an undisrupted enemy unit. Does this include the Assaulting unit(s) in the hex just vacated by the retreating unit? If yes, i guess that means if the defending unit(s) don’t disrupt the attackers in the assault, the retreating defending units will always be eliminated. Is this correct?

Fortunately, that is not correct. :) The intent of the rule is to not include Assaulting units that caused the retreat in the first place. It might be helpful to think of that specific case as when the Attacker has surrounded the defeated units. Another unit needs to be there. ;-)
